Along with Revlon’s ColorBurst lipstick, I picked up one of their single eyeshadows during CVS’s New Year sale. At 75% off, I figured it would be worth trying, but sad to say, it is a huge miss! Streaky and uneven, I found the shadow nearly impossible to blend, and so right back to CVS it went!
I had much better luck with MAC’s Ego shadow, which is from one of their “blink-and-you’ll-miss-it” collections, aka “Peacocky”. The mega-metal shadows are 3.4 grams, which is nearly three times as large as their regular shadows, which are 1.5 grams. The pigmentation is excellent, nothing earth-shattering, but good nonetheless. I love the color – it reminds of me of MAC’s Steamy, with a little more “oomph”.

I feel the same way about Revlon’s eyeshadows.
They seem to really specialize in their foundations. Colorstay is amazing!
Love this smoky look! Thanks for the review on the Revlon shadow. I almost got this one and considered getting it the next time I go to CVS, but I won’t now! LOL
