In the last few weeks, I’ve been on a drugstore makeup spending spree, picking up a few things here and there and coming up with some suprising winners.
While on my drugstore rampage, I happened upon some products by E.L.F. that had me hooting and hollering on account of their sheer awesomeness.
Case in point – the single shadows that cost $1 and are packed with an incredible amount of pigment. These shadows are a fantastic buy – they come without a case, but you can purchase a palette from E.L.F., or put them in your own magnetic palette.
I also tried E.L.F.’s liquid liner in Coffee, and lets just say I was a lot less impressed. A lot. Does not apply with ease, and skips, so I had to go back two to three times to fill in some blank areas. You win some, you lose some!
However, E.L.F. redeemed itself with their Studio Eyeliner and Shadow Stick.
Wow. E.L.F. has some items that are priced at $3 in their Studio line that are a little higher caliber than their regular $1 line. For $3, this handy item is a dupe for the MAC Greasesticks, and the liner is pretty darned good. No complaints here! You do get quite a bit of product with the stick!

Mascara: MAC Plush Lash

I plan on taking a trip to go hunt down ELF and Milani products tomorrow. They’re 2 brands that I can’t find in my area, but have heard are readily available if I travel 20 miles south.
Totally worth the trek to find those two brands! I know you will love them!
