To take a phrase from one of my favorite bloggers, today I have a raging case of the sads.
My blogging bff is in Hawaii for five whole weeks, which means that not only will our weekly “office hours” be on hold for a while, but I won’t get to eat her delicious leftovers! Tragic!
Sigh.
In honor of her trip, I’m wearing a combo once described to me as a “Hawaiian sunset”. This is how the entire conversation went down:
Me: How do you wear that crazy blue?
Friend: Oooh, let me tell you! You wear MAC’s Gesso all over the lid, from lash to brow, then you put Tilt on the lid. It looks just like a Hawaiian sunset!
Now, never having been to Hawaii, I’m not too sure how closely this resembles a Hawaiian sunset, but it sure is pretty!

Lid to Browbone: MAC Gesso
Lid: MAC Tilt
Liner: A teeeensy bit of Avon Glimmersticks in Smoky Diamont
Brows: MAC Wedge
Mascara: Dior Show
So pretty. I don’t have either of these MAC colors. I think I need them now.
Gesso is fantastic … it’s PURE matte white … love it!
