If you are looking for an alternative to heavy smoky eyes, try a glittering golden eye, instead. It’s a nice way to make a statement with your makeup without overdosing on darker shadows. Another day, another contender for one of my all-time favorite EOTDs.
For the lips I used one of Milani’s Haute Flash glosses, and I can’t say enough or how often I absolutely adore Milani. Such great products at unbeatable prices.

For a second I thought you had on colored contact lenses because that eyeshadow makes your eyes look lighter/brighter.
The power of makeup right there!
Love how the gold looks on you!
OMG I LOVE YOU – *AHEM* – THIS!!! =P You know, not in a creepy way or anything…it’s just so soft and beautiful and holiday-appropriate.
Very lovely makeup. That gold is lovely on you.
This is beautiful on you! I wish I could wear gold! I’m a cool tone girl and it makes me just look weird.
Thanks, Monika! Do you find silvers work better?
Yes! Silver always works. Jewelry, too.
