17/365 Days of Eyeshadow

Many moons ago, when I was a fledgling beauty junkie, I  saw MAC’s Electric Eel eyeshadow and promptly turned up my nose.

“How in the heck would you wear that???!!!!”, I so naively scoffed.

Turns out, Electric Eel has been one of my favorites through the years. When I was hating on the blue, a friend suggested I pair it with a melon shade, using the blue as a liner. Fab suggestion – I love this combo because it’s so unexpected and yet so flattering.

Browbone: MAC Ricepaper (the original one I’ve had for over 10 years!)

Upper Liner: MAC Electric Eel shadow
