Today is e.l.f. day at Painted Ladies. When the Holiday season rolls around in retail stores around …. July (kidding … not really), I rejoice because there are so many wonderful palette-type deals to be had.
Target is now carrying $5 eyeshadow and lip Beauty Encyclopedia’s from e.l.f., as well as some brush kits. Megan has raved about the palettes before, so when I saw the palettes at my local Target, I indulged in the Smoky palette. Great value for great shadows with a generously sized mirror! The eye pencil they include in the kit is no big whoop, FYI!
Base: Urban Decay Sin Primer Potion
Lid, Lower Lid, Outer Corner, Browbone: From e.l.f. palette
Liner:Stila Onyx Kajal
Brows: Stila Dark Brow Duo, darker shade
Mascara: Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express

I love that you posted on E.L.F. Some (not all)of their products are really good. They sell them in my target too. I’m going to check out this palette. Thanks!
Beautiful!
I saw this palette at Walgreens recently, which was a surprise since they don’t normally carry the line. It might just be for the holidays.
I wish I could find ELF in my area. I can only find it occasionally in dollar stores….and then it’s nothing that strikes my fancy. I did nab their taklon foundation brush and a shadow brush the last time though…love them.
ELF is popping up in a lot of places in my area. In addition to Target and Walgreens, there are a ton of ELF kits at my local TJ Maxx.
I do love their shadows and lip glosses. Amazed by how great the quality is for the prices. Haven’t tried any of their brushes yet, but that’s next on my list.
