14/365 Days of Makeup IV

Press Sample I Bought It

By Sheila Arkee

Pigments have been on my shopping list lately, and one is Ben Nye’s Golden Apricot. I bought a sample when I purchased my Makeup Geek shadows and it’s a really pretty shimmery shadow. It reminds me of MAC’s Expensive Pink, which is one of my all-time favorites.

I am enjoying your 365 Days of makeup! Love it! I just have a quick question: If you already have dark circles under your eyes that can’t be concealed by any concealer, is it okay to have dark shades as your eye shadow? Thanks in advance!

Hi Peta – If you have trouble with concealer, I have a trick for you! check out this past Breaking Down Beauty. To answer your question – if you have dark circles, you might want to avoid dark shadows.

Shiela! Thank you for your reply! I would check that article asap! and for the concealer I really do not want it to look like a concealer, as much as possible I do hope it would look natural and blends perfectly with my skin…
