Nine months into this beauty blogging game, I’m sure you are well aware of how I get with my ideas. What can I say — I enjoy trying new things!
Feeling like I was in a creative rut and in need of a challenge, I came up with a twist on the concept behind the blog 365 Days of Crockpotting. Why not do 365 Days of Eyeshadow?
The intention is to bring up some creativity for everyone. The possibilities are endless, and more than anything, it will be fun. One proviso: yes, I blog about beauty, but the honest truth is that there are some days I am way to busy to even throw on mascara. Things could get ugly ’round here!
You are more than welcome to send in your contributions whenever you like! Shout out to me at [email protected]. Don’t worry, I won’t hold you to a 365 day a year schedule! We’ll have lots to share about colors, techniques, and tools. Are you in?
Kicking off day 1, I’m wearing one of the most universal colors ever. Melon shades look so great on all eye colors and skin tones, I swear!
Base: MAC Bare Study Paint Pot
Lid: NYX Cosmetics Loose Pigment in Orb* (gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!)
Crease: MAC Texture Eyeshadow
Upper Lids: NYX Liquid Liner in Black*
Waterline: MAC Phone Number Kohl
Mascara: NYX Doll Eyes in Black*

I’m envisioning a painted ladies calendar…(and I want one for christmas!)
That’s considered a melon color? It shows up as more of a gold on my screen (which by the way I find to be universally flattering too)
Ooh, now THAT’S an idea … lol! In person it s definitely melon-toned, but yes, gold is another one of those awesome universal shades.
That lid colour is STUNNING <3
I’m in <3, too, Silhouette!
This is a wonderful idea! And that NYX pigment is beautiful! I got one in Lagoon, but haven’t tried it yet!
Thank you, Marie! Now I have to go check out Lagoon! Can’t get enough of NYX.
